ACC Community Impact

Wounded Warrior Project

Wounded Warrior Project

Many service members struggle with the transition back into civilian life after combat, and inclusion in collegiate sporting events is a great way for veterans to feel appreciated and honored for their sacrifice. The ACC continues to rally behind our nation’s heroes by celebrating them at ACC Championship events, including Football, Basketball, and Baseball.

We, the ACC, are committed to seeing each other as equals and treating each other with respect and dignity at all times; recognizing that our differences don't divide us, but they make us stronger. In support of this statement, the ACC established the Committee for Racial and Social Justice to promote and encourage racial equity and social justice through education, partnerships, engagement and advocacy.

Extra Yard for Teachers

Extra Yard For Teachers

Over the past six years, the Atlantic Coast Conference has partnered with the College Football Playoff (CFP) Foundation to provide nearly $700,000 in funding for teachers and classrooms throughout the conference’s footprint. This year, the ACC once again celebrated the hard work and dedication of teachers during the annual CFP Foundation’s Extra Yard for Teachers (EYFT) week (Sept. 12-19).
